Setting up an ODBC Data Source

To design Crystal Reports with data from Extractor, an ODBC data source must be created. This need only be done once.

To create the ODBC data source, follow the steps below.

Select ODBC Data Sources from inside control panel.
Select the System DSN tab
Click the Add button
Select Microsoft Text Driver and click Finish
Enter Extractor as the Data Source Name and Extractor Data Source as the description
Set the Database Directory to the Data Location specified for Extractor. If the Select Directory button is disabled, make sure that the Use Current Directory tick box is not checked.
Select OK
