Core and Elective modules that make up a qualification are setup and maintained in this window.

Prerequisites

Rules and Guidelines

  • Core modules, which must be completed before the Qualification is gained, need to be setup.
  • The number of elective modules required for a qualification need to be specified.
  • The employee may select any of the elective modules listed, to make up the number required for completion.
  • The qualification is attained when all the core modules and the required number of elective modules have been completed.

Field Information

Enter a six-character code that represents the qualification code.

Enter a description of the training qualification code.

Select from the dropdown the Institute code where the training will take place.

Enter the number of elective modules that the employee must complete to attain the qualification.

  • This field can be left blank if elective modules are not required for this qualification.

 

Core Modules

The core modules for this qualification.

  • These are the modules which an employee must complete before obtaining the qualification.

Elective Modules

The elective Modules for this qualification.

  • These are the modules which an employee must complete before obtaining the qualification, if a value is specified in the "Number of Elective Modules required to complete Qualification" field.
