Dependant Rebates

This window is used for the calculating of tax, along with the Tax Tables and Tax Zone details and covers the dependant rebate and the holiday loading tax exemption.

Rules and Guidelines

• When Preceda is implemented, the Tax Record is already setup with the current details.
• Formulas for the tax calculations are supplied by the ATO.
• Any changes made to these records must be fully tested to ensure the results comply exactly with tax tables published by the ATO.
• Under no circumstances will the suppliers of this software or their agents accept responsibility for inaccurate tax calculations arising from the incorrect coding of these records.

Rebate Percentage

This is the percentage based tax exemption used for those employees with dependants. Eligible employees with dependants can receive a tax exemption on a percentage of their Gross Pay.
