Inbound Integration Manager

An Inbound Integration Manager facilitates the automated processing and receipt of data between an external system and Preceda via the Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).

The integration allows data import in three standards:

• Generic XML Format (including Workday PICOF/ PECI Format)
• Mapper XML Format
• Mapper CSV Format

Below is a summary of the Integration Process:

• An external system delivers files to a known folder in your Preceda Environment.
• The file is picked up and added to a queue, which makes it available for tracking on the Inbound Integration screen.
• The system ensures that the integration lock is not locked (Stage: Pending / Awaiting Payrun).
• The file is validated to confirm if it can be processed (Stage: Processing).
• The Generic XML Import processor transforms the input file into an acceptable file that can be processed (Stage: Data Transformation).
• The input file is processed via Mapper. The success or failure is captured (Stage: Import to Preceda).
• The outcome is communicated via notification (Notification).
• If notification is successful, the process is considered complete (Stage: Complete).
