This window allows for the label of selected fields within Preceda windows to be changed, and for the level of history to be held for each of the relevant field numbers.

These fields display the starting and ending field position numbers in the file.
Example The ID Number starts at position 2 and ends at position 7. This indicates that the ID Number field is six characters long. (The positions are inclusive). |
This is an abbreviated form of the field's description. It is used for technical purposes and cannot be changed.
The full description of the field is used for display and printing purposes.
This value should not be changed without consultation with the Support Team.
This field displays the description of the format of the field.
This refers to the number of years that history is kept for the selected field in the Maintenance History window, and only applies when the "Extract History" field contains a Y.
Note: The removal of history records older than this "Years Held" value is only performed when the Purge History process is run.
