This option assigns special Time Codes to a Pay Period to be paid to an employee when they punch in on specified days of the week.
This special day Time Code applies only to punch records whose in punch falls within the date and time range specified on the special day record.
The starting date and time of the Alternate Special Days will take effect.
The ending date and time that the Alternate Special Days will take effect.

Under what circumstances does an employee qualify for special hours?
B | Between. The employee qualifies for special pay for all hours worked within the time range setup in the Holiday Start and Stop Date/Time fields, regardless of when the in and out punches are entered. |
I | In-Punch. The employee qualifies for special pay if their in=punch falls within the time range setup in the Holiday Start and Stop Date/Time fields. |
M | Majority. The employee qualifies for special pay only if they work for more than 5-0% of their hours within the time range setup in the Holiday Start and Stop Date/Time fields. |
Are the special Pay Categories paid in addition to, or in place of, the Pay Categories setup in the Daily, Weekly and Pay Period Overtime Routine fields.

Bypass Premium Pay Categories, setup in the Special Time Code fields in the Premium file, when paying the Special Pay Categories setup, or pay them in addition to Special Pay.

Drill Down Field Information
The holiday time code an employee should receive for all regular hours worked on a holiday. Holiday hours will be included in overtime calculations if the Exclude Hours from the Calculation of Overtime field is unchecked in the Time Code file for this Pay Code.
The Holiday Time Codes that an employee should receive for all overtime hours worked on a holiday.
The Overtime Block 1 to 4 Time Codes are paid based on the qualifiers setup in the Pay on All Hours Over fields for the regular overtime routines in the Pay Period field, e.g. if an employee is to receive double time for all hours worked on a holiday, OT2.0 is entered in both the Regular and Overtime Time Code fields.
To copy Special Days Forward/Back, click Copy then select Premium
The copy special days feature can be helpful in eliminating data entry when setting up special days. Special days can be copied forward to future dates, permitting the use of existing special days without additional data entry, or special days can be copied back to past dates when necessary.
Example:- When copying special days forward a designated number of days can be skipped, as in the case of a weekend, skipping 2 days etc. This does not apply to Backward copy.
The number of days to copy this special day forward. The date specified as the beginning date, is included in the number of days that the premium forward is copied if entering a value in the Skip Days field.
The number of days forward that the special day will be copied, after which the system looks to the next field of Skip Days to determine how many days will be skipped before copying begins again.
The number of days to skip between copying cycles.
Example To create a two week period of special days where Mondays through Fridays are special days and all weekends are skipped:-
