This option is used to maintain details common to each type of Roster. It is linked to an employee to group employees according to their Roster Code.
A 3 character code that represents a particular Roster.
A description of the Roster Code.
These fields are used to help the system to determine if the punch is a scheduled punch and, if so to which schedule to assign the punch. They also help in determining if it is an In or Out punch.
Roster Margins determine how long before scheduled start time and after a schedule end time, an employee has to punch and still be assigned to the Primary or Standard roster. If the roster margins of two shifts overlap, the punch synchronises to the nearest roster time.
How long before a rostered start time an employee can punch in and still be assigned to the roster.
How long after a rostered end time an employee can punch out and still be assigned to the roster.
Example
|
The Minutes to Associate fields determine whether the employee's punch is an In or Out for a meal or for the shift day start or end.
Associates with the rostered begin shift time.
Associates with the rostered begin meal time.
Associates with the rostered end meal time.
Associates with the rostered end shift time.
Example
Any punch form 6:00 am until 10: am would be associated with the rostered in punch for the day, for grace periods, rostered rounding, and exception reporting purposes.
Example 2
Any punch from 7:00 am to 9:00 am would be associated with the rostered in punch for the day, for grace periods, scheduled rounding and exception reporting processes. Any punch between 6:00 am and 7:00 am would not be associated with the rostered in punch and would appear as an unscheduled punch. |
