Initiating Termination

The Initiation of Termination is used to cater to a large number of employees responsible for the entry of worked hours, leave and allowance/deduction transactions for each Payroll.

 

The initiation of termination can be achieved using two methods:

  • through an employee initiating the termination via Employee Self Service; or
  • by a Manager in Preceda using the Initiate Termination window.

 

Termination initiated by a Manager in Preceda notifies the designated personnel, usually from the Payroll Department of the Termination.

For employees who initiate the Resignation through Employee Self Service, the initiation starts a Termination Workflow which alerts the personnel either by email or via the To Do List in Preceda. It is also used to monitor the progress of a Termination as well as add tasks, notifications and emails to be generated at various stages of the termination process.
